Products classification and application instructions


UPPER CLEANERS
Water or solvent base products to prepare all types of upper for shoe dressing. They clean upper from dirty materials like powder, grease oil, wax etc. After dry, upper is ready to be finished with shoe dressing.

Wash: water base products to apply by cloth or sponge.
Cleaners: water and/or solvent base products to apply by cloth or by sponge.

DRESSING
Liquid polishes that give brightness to uppers. The product range will meet customer's luster needs through different blends of emulsified wax and synthetic resins.

Calf Polish: dressing with a higher content of wax and consequently with a greater filling capacity. Usually CALF POLISH is applied as first coat. Apply by natural sponge, let it dry for 10 minutes. At this point if a higher degree of brightness is required you can apply one more dressing: Calf Polish is available black and colorless.
   
Spray Finish:
dressing with a higher content of resins and consequently with a higher polishing power. It has to be applied by spray gun on shoe upper at about 30 cm of distance. It can be applied as second coat after application of Calf Polish. Apply enough amount of product in a uniform way to form a film on upper. It is important to not apply too much product so that it does not from drops. Let it dry for 10-15 minutes then brush it with QUINEX (polishing waxes).
 
Suede Spray: dressing to be applied by spray on suede uppers and nubuck. It gives to the hair a velour look. In this series, as well as our regular production colors, a customers color matching service is available. Apply as SPRAY FINISH but in small quantity.
 
 
Quintolina/Alfaquina: silicon cream to be applied by sponge on shoe uppers out of any leather. It is particularly suitable when natural brightness is required. When the upper has dried up, brush it with QUINEX or CERALUX 400. The result is an Italian look: upper is not too bright and touch is like silk. Quintolina is available both liquid (ML serie) and creamy (700 serie).
 
Ital cream: tcream to be applied by sponge on shoe uppers out of any leather. It is particularly suitable when high brightness and covering effect are required. When the upper has dried up, brush it with QUINEX or CERALUX 400. The result is a very shine look: uppers become very bright with a silky touch.
 
Ceranize: cream developed to give an antique look to shoe uppers to be applied by sponge. When the cream has dried up, excess must be wiped off with a cloth. After 5/10 minutes drying, the upper is ready for further shoe rooming. CERANIZE is available in various colors. A customer color matching service is available.
 
Antique Finish: more liquid version of Ceranize cream. It can be applied both by spray and by sponge, following the same procedure of Ceranize application. In this series too, as well as our regular production colors, a customers color matching service is available.
 
Shoe Polish: cream for high quality, particularly suitable for final coatings on upper, to be Shoe Polish applied by brush in small amounts, by hand or by a brushing wheel. It gives brightness and silky touch: these products could be thought as shoe cream we use at home to finish our shoes. Available in three colors: black, brown, light brown.
 
Oil Dressing: shoe finish to apply on oil and greasy leather. It is available in cream form to apply by sponge or liquid form to apply by spray. We suggest to use liquid form on oil nubuk.
 
PRODUCTS FOR EDGE AND HEEL FINISHES
Wax based dressing for edges and heels, divided into two main series.

Edge Finish: transparent/semi-transparent/cover products, available in various colors, they are designed to partly cover leather imperfections. Apply above products by small brush on edge and heel, let them dry for 10-15 minutes, then brush with hair brush. Polish them with our polishing wax (Quinex or Ceralux) using wool brushing wheel.

Welt Dye: products for dyeing and polishing welts.
   


PRODUCTS FOR BOTTOM FINISHING

Gum Stain: Transparent creams for bottom finishing.
Application instructions: buff and clean the soles. Apply the products by sponge, covering completely the sole surface. Remove excess with a brush or a cloth. Let it dry. Apply Cera Abrasiva on a brushing wheel and brush the sole at 900/1000 laps per minute. Apply Quinex or Ceralux on a wool-brushing-wheel and polish the sole. The result is a smooth and Italian look sole (not too bright).
   
Brush Stain: Application instructions: buff and clean the soles. Apply the products uniformly by brush or by spray. Let it dry. Apply Cera Abrasiva on a brushing wheel and brush the sole at 900/1000 laps per minute. Then apply Quinex or Ceralux on a wool brushing wheel and polish the sole. The result is a very bright and smooth sole which does not crack when it is flexed.

WAXES

Abrasive wax: to be applied on brushing wheels for bottom polishing. We have different types of abrasive waxes for uppers, soles, and for different customers needs. It is also good for brushing off. Available in color black, brown and colorless.
   
Ceralux/Quinex: polishing wax made with natural waxes ( carnauba ) melted together. We suggest above product to make bright and smooth each part of the shoe (upper, sole, edge and heel) using wool rotative brush. Available in color black, colorless and brown.

AUXILIARY PRODUCTS

Cripple Chaser: product for upper softening to be applied before the lasting operation. It is especially indicated for hard leather which easily breaks. To be applied by brush or by spray on the flesh side of the leather.
   
Pennellesse: special, large, delicate brushes to apply Brush Stain
